Best players of Indonesian IBL round 14

American Michael Qualls (197-G-1994) had a great game in the last round for Borneo Hornbills and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 29-year old guard had the game-high 27 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for Borneo in his team's victory, helping them to beat Tangerang (#10, 4-6) 89-80. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Borneo maintains the 11th position in Indonesian IBL. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Borneo have already lost 8 games and recorded just three victories. Qualls just recently signed at Borneo, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Michael Qualls averages this season 26.6ppg, 8.8rpg and 5.0apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Xavier Alexander (196-F-1988) of Tangerang Hawks. Alexander impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Tangerang lost that game 80-89 to slightly lower-ranked Borneo (#11, 3-8). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Tangerang keeps 10th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Alexander is one of the most experienced players at Tangerang and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Jabari Bird (198-G-1994) of Rajawali Jakarta (#7). Bird scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Bird's great performance the Rajawali lost 56-65 to the lower-ranked Satya Wacana (#12, 2-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Bird has a very solid season. In 12 games in Indonesia he scored 17.5ppg. He also has 7.1rpg, 3.4apg and a FGP of 55.8%.
