Barkley's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

27-year old American Kentrell Barkley (194-SF-1996, agency: Haylett Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Kesatria Bengawan Solo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 36 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out Borneo (#11, 2-8) 90-86. Kesatria BS is placed at 3rd position in Indonesian league. They are still close to the very top. Kesatria BS would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. In the team's last game Barkley had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Kesatria BS, being already a very valuable addition to the team. East Carolina University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Barkley is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.8ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 13.4rpg) and averages solid 2.9spg and 64.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kierell Green (203-C-1997) of Bali United. He is American center in his first season at Bali Utd.. In the last game Green recorded an impressive double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Bali Utd. lost that game 75-85 to the higher-ranked Satria Muda (#2, 8-3). Bali Utd. managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Green is one of the most experienced players at Bali Utd. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Steve Taylor Jr. (206-F-1993) of Borneo Hornbills (#11). Taylor Jr. scored 29 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Borneo, leading his team to a 82-70 win against the lower-ranked Pacific Caesar (#14, 1-10). Borneo can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Taylor Jr. has a very solid season. In 4 games in Indonesia he scored 21.0ppg.
