Best players of Indonesian IBL round 8

Kentrell Barkley

American Kentrell Barkley (194-SF-1996, agency: Haylett Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Kesatria Bengawan Solo and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 27-year old had a double-double of 28 points and 23 rebounds, while his team beat Rans Pik (#2, 4-1) 78-72. Kesatria BS is placed at 6th position in Indonesian IBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Kesatria BS will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Barkley had a remarkable 52.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Kesatria BS, being already a very valuable addition to the team. East Carolina University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Barkley is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.8ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 14.5rpg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 63.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was American Le'Bryan Nash (198-SF) of second-ranked Rans Pik Basketball. Nash impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Rans Pik lost that game 72-78 to the lower-ranked Kesatria BS (#6, 3-1). Rans Pik managed to keep the same second spot in the standings. It was just his team's 1st loss this season, while they won 4 other games. Nash is one of the most experienced players at Rans Pik and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Tyree Robinson (196-PF-1995) of Satya Wacana Salatiga (#12). Robinson scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Satya Wacana, leading his team to a 66-64 win against Borneo (#14, 0-6). Satya Wacana can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Robinson has individually a great season in Indonesia. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 8.8rpg (9th best).
