Best players of Indonesian IBL round 49 (by Hoops Agents)- June 21, 2023
The 35-year old forward had a double-double of 24 points and ten rebounds, while his team outclassed NSH (#14, 6-23) with 33-point margin 93-60. Bali Utd. maintains the 8th position in Indonesian IBL. Bali Utd. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 15-15 record. In the team's last game Lowhorn had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Bali Utd.'s top player in his first season with the team. University of San Francisco graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lowhorn is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 61.7% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international power forward Dame Diagne (197-PF-2005) of Indonesia P.. Diagne impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Indonesia P. lost that game 59-72 to slightly lower-ranked Evos Bogor (#12, 10-19). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Indonesia P. dropped in the standings to 10th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 12-17 record. Diagne is one of the most experienced players at Indonesia P. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. The third best performed player last round was British Morakinyo Williams (209-C-1988) of Pacific Caesar (#15). Williams scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Despite Williams' great performance Pacific Caesar lost 78-85 to the higher-ranked Hangtuah (#11, 10-17). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Pacific Caesar can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 6-24 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Williams has individually a great season in Indonesia. After 30 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 12.4rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.4bpg and FGP: 51.7%. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
