Indonesia posted second straight win at the SEA Games 2023. They overcame Thailand 70-69 to improve to a 2-0 record. Indonesia grabbed a 24-20 lead and added a 20-10 run in the second frame. Thailand replied with a 23-15 and 16-11 rallies in the second half, but fell short at the end.
Kim Pierre-Louis (183-F/C-1993, college: UMass, agency: Areus Sports) top-scored for the winners with 30 points. Sasiporn Wongtapha (162-G/F-1998) replied with 15 points in a loss.
