Indonesian IBL round 34 best performance: Cameron Coleman (by Hoops Agents)- March 18, 2023
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Bumi Borneo (#7, 10-9) 86-77. Bima Perkasa is placed at 5th position in Indonesian IBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Bima Perkasa will need more victories to improve their 13-6 record. In the team's last game Coleman had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Bima Perkasa's top player in his first season with the team. Former York College, NE star has very solid stats this year. Coleman is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.9ppg) and averages impressive 55.3% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was young American Randy Bell (193-PG-1998) of Bumi Borneo. Bell had a very good evening with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Bumi Borneo lost that game 77-86 to slightly higher-ranked Bima Perkasa (#5, 13-6). Bumi Borneo managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 10-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bell is well-known at Bumi Borneo and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.5ppg (#2). He also registered 6.6 boards per game. Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Shavar Newkirk (179-PG-1996) of NSH (#13). Newkirk scored 27 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Despite Newkirk's great performance NSH lost 68-75 to the higher-ranked Satria Muda (#1, 16-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. NSH can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 5-14 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Newkirk has individually a great season in Indonesia. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.7ppg (9th best). Other top performing players last week: 4. Dame Diagne (197-PF-2005) of Indonesia P. - 22 points and 17 rebounds 5. Hardianus Hardianus (175-PG-1992) of Satria Muda - 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists 6. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
