IBL Round 19: Prawira lose to Satria Muda in the game between Top 4 teams

The game between Top Four teams took place in Jakarta. Leader host Satria Muda (11-0) defeated their biggest opponent Prawira (8-2) 88-83. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Prawira. Satria Muda made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Prawira 44-25 including a 23-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Prawira helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for guard Antoni Erga (179-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. The former international point guard Widyanta-Putra Teja (180-1997) helped adding 19 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). At the losing side Dominican Brandone Francis (194-1994, college: Texas Tech) responded with 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Undefeated Satria Muda have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Prawira at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Pelita Jaya and Bima Perkasa. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Fifth ranked Pelita Jaya (8-2) crushed at home 14th ranked Evos Bogor (2-9) by 18 points 71-53, which is the biggest margin this round. It was a quality performance for the former international point guard Andakara Dhyaksa (173-1992) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 5 assists. Muhamad Arighi accounted for 11 points. American forward Andre Jackson (199-1994, college: Bowie St., agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for Evos Bogor in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pelita Jaya moved-up to second place, which they share with Prawira and Bima Perkasa. Evos Bogor at the other side dropped to the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Pelita Jaya will play against Tangerang (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Evos Bogor will have a break next round.

In the last two games of round 19 Tangerang lost to NSH on the opponent's court 60-64. Bottom-ranked Satya Wacana unfortunately lost to Pacific Caesar in a home game 61-65.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 31 points and 24 rebounds by Morakinyo Williams of Pacific Caesar.

Pelita Jaya - Evos Bogor 71-53

Fifth ranked Pelita Jaya (8-2) crushed at home 14th ranked Evos Bogor (2-9) by 18 points 71-53, which is the biggest margin this round. Pelita Jaya had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a quality performance for the former international point guard Andakara Dhyaksa (173-1992) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 5 assists. Guard Muhamad Arighi (182-1999) accounted for 11 points for the winning side. Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. There was a minor upset in Jakarta where 10th ranked Tangerang (3-7) was defeated by thirteenth ranked NSH (3-7) 64-60. NSH dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Tangerang's 16. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for guard Andre Rorimpandey (177-1996) who led the winners and scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Vincent Sanjaya (193-1997) accounted for 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Danny Ray (181-1997) came up with 16 points and the former international Rizky Effendy (184-1988) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Tangerang in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. NSH moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Hangtuah and Tangerang. NSH will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tangerang will play against Pelita Jaya (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.

They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Pacific Caesar will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Satya Wacana will play against Bali Utd.
