Best players of Indonesian IBL round 12- February 3, 2023
The 28-year old had a double-double of 26 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed WBS (#9, 3-4) with 18-point margin 100-82. Prawira is placed at 5th position in Indonesian IBL. They are still close to the very top. Prawira would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. Francis turned to be Prawira's top player in his first season with the team. Texas Tech University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Francis is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.3ppg. Francis is in league's top in and averages solid 56.0% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Jamaican center Anthony Allen (210-C-1992) of Tangerang. Allen impressed basketball fans with 8 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course Tangerang cruised to a 63-54 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Evos Bogor (#14, 1-6). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Tangerang managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 10th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Allen is one of the most experienced players at Tangerang and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. The third best performed player last round was American Prince Williams (195-G-1992) of WBS (#9). Williams showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists in the last round. Despite Williams' great performance WBS lost 82-100 to the higher-ranked Prawira (#5, 5-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of WBS ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Williams could help WBS to bring them higher in the standings. Williams has a great season in Indonesia. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.9ppg (6th best), rebounds with 7.1rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 4.0apg (8th best).
