Francis' double-double lands him Player of the Week award- January 21, 2023
He had a double-double of 41 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Rans Pik (#8, 2-2) with 17-point margin 78-61. Prawira is placed at 5th position in Indonesian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Prawira will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Francis had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Prawira's top player in his first season with the team. Texas Tech University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Francis is league's best scorer averaging so far 32.3ppg. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Dhyaksa is well-known at Pelita Jaya and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#9). He also recorded 3.7 assists per game. Third place about best performers goes to center Morakinyo Williams (209-C-1988) of Pacific Caesar (#11). Williams scored 24 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Williams' great performance Pacific Caesar lost 78-89 to the higher-ranked Pelita Jaya (#7, 2-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Pacific Caesar not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Williams could try to bring Pacific Caesar's a little bit higher in the standings. Williams has individually a great season in Indonesia. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.7ppg (8th best), rebounds with 12.7rpg (2nd best) and assists with 1.3apg (7th best).
