NSH - Pacific Caesar 57-59 Important game to mention about took place in Jakarta. Sixth ranked Pacific Caesar (1-7) saved a 2-point derby victory on the road edging their close opponent NSH (1-7) 59-57 in the fight for the fifth place. Pacific Caesar forced 19 NSH turnovers. Strangely NSH outrebounded Pacific Caesar 44-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. NSH was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ramdhan Yuwana (201-98) who helped to win the game recording 13 points. Yonatan Yonatan contributed with 12 points for the winners. Point guard Andre Rorimpandey (177-96) answered with 19 points and 4 assists and the former international Rizky Effendy (186-88) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for NSH. NSH's coach Antonius Rinaldo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Pacific Caesar left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Hang Tuah and NSH. It was NSH's fifth loss in a row. Local Prawira (6-2) outscored 5th ranked Satya Wacana (3-5) 88-55. Prawira dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Satya Wacana's 30. They outrebounded Satya Wacana 50-29 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Prawira players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a quality performance for M Fahdani who led the winners and scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Abraham Grahita (180-95) accounted for 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Guard Antoni Erga (180-0) came up with 23 points and point guard David Nuban (182-98) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Satya Wacana in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Prawira maintains second place with 6-2 record behind leader Louvre S., which they share with Satria Muda. Satya Wacana at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Prawira's next round opponent will be Satria Muda (#3) in Jakarta, which may be the game of the day. It was a great evening for point guard Kevin Poetiray (186-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). The former international point guard Wendha Wijaya (181-82) helped adding 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Fisyaiful Amir (182-95) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and center Muhammad Jayadiwangsa (196-97) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Louvre S. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Loser Hang Tuah keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Pacific Caesar and NSH. Visitors were rolled over by third ranked Satria Muda (6-2) 76-54. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pelita Jaya. Satria Muda dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pelita Jaya's 20. They outrebounded Pelita Jaya 45-24 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international point guard Hardianus Lakudu (175-92) fired 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international Arki Wisnu (187-88) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. International Muhammad Wicaksono (189-89) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and international point guard Andakara Dhyaksa (173-92) added 13 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Satria Muda moved-up to second place, which they share with Prawira. Pelita Jaya at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Satria Muda is looking forward to face league's second-placed Prawira in Bandung in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pelita Jaya will play on the road against the league's leader Louvre S. in Surabaya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
