IBL Round 1: Indonesia P. defeat NSH- March 12, 2021
The Regular Season in IBL just started. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and derby games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
NSH - Indonesia P. 44-55 The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of NSH in Jakarta on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Indonesia P. 55-44. Indonesia P. held NSH to an opponent 22.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 32.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Indonesia P. forced 19 NSH turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Hendrick Yonga (183-2) who helped to win the game recording 13 points. Center Aldy Rachman (190-0) contributed with 6 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Jan Panagan (179-94) answered with 5 points and 8 rebounds and Hengki Infandi (180-94) added 4 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for NSH. WBS managed to get a 5-point victory 61-56. WBS outrebounded Hang Tuah 50-37 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for international point guard Widyanta-Putra Teja (182-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international Pringgo Regowo (190-87) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Fisyaiful Amir (182-95) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Sevly Rondonuwu (171-96) added 11 points in the effort for Hang Tuah. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Pacific Caesar was crushed at home by 30 points 52-82 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Louvre S. dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Pacific Caesar's 18. Louvre S. forced 20 Pacific Caesar turnovers. The former international forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and point guard Kevin Poetiray (186-95) accounted for 22 points and 4 assists. Yonatan Yonatan came up with 4 points and 16 rebounds and the former international center Muhammad Wardana (195-94) added 5 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Pacific Caesar in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Louvre S. will meet at home Bima Perkasa in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pacific Caesar will play against Satya Wacana and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Indonesia P. won against visiting WBS 73-60. Indonesia P. forced 21 WBS turnovers. Point guard Yesaya Michael (177-0) fired 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Ali Alhadar (195-0) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. Four Indonesia P. players scored in double figures. Guard Andre Adrianno (175-94) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and international Mei Joni (188-89) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The former international Abraham Grahita (180-95) stepped up and scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Arif Hidayat (184-91) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side the former international Arki Wisnu (187-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and the former international forward Laurentius Oei (195-94) scored 9 points and 5 assists.
