Indonesia P. - Satya Wacana 110-75 The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Indonesia P. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Indonesia P. smashed 9th ranked Satya Wacana in Jakarta 110-75. Indonesia P. forced 19 Satya Wacana turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of British V.Islands center Lester Prosper (210-88, college: Old Westbury) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 18 rebounds. Naturalized American Brandon Jawato (193-93, college: Hawaii) contributed with 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Indonesia P. players scored in double figures. American swingman Chris Sterling (196-93, college: Ariz.Christian) replied with 25 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Montrell Williams (193-92, college: Arkansas Tech) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Satya Wacana. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Indonesia P. (10-2) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Satya Wacana lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with eight games lost. Satya Wacana will play next round against strong Pelita Jaya trying to get back on the winning streak. Indonesia P. will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Louvre S. in Surabaya. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. NSH maintains third position with 9-3 record behind leader Indonesia P. Pacific Caesar lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with seven games lost. NSH will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pacific Caesar will play against Bima Perkasa (#7) in Sakti and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Arif Hidayat (184-91) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Glen Burns (190-95, college: Chicago St., agency: Interperformances) who added 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Prawira players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Savon Goodman (198, college: Shaw) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Michael Kolawole (196, college: Lamar, agency: Haylett Sports) scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prawira (3-8) moved-up to eighth place. Louvre S. lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Prawira will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Louvre S. will play at home against the league's leader Indonesia P. (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
