Satria Muda adds Patterson to their roster, ex Warriors

Shawntez Patterson

Satria Muda Pertamina Jakarta (IBL) added to their roster 29-year old American forward Shawntez Patterson (201-91kg-90, college: Alabama State). He played last summer at Warriors in Colombian LPB league. In 7 games he recorded 7.9ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.4apg. Patterson helped them to make it to the semifinals. He ended the last season at Zhuhai in Chinese league where in 11 ASEAN League games he averaged 12.3ppg, 5.7rpg and 2.4apg. But the most of that year Patterson spent at Targu Jiu (Liga Nationala) in Romanian league. In 14 games he had very impressive stats: 18.6ppg, 8.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg.
His team was regular season runner-up in Finnish 1st Division Division A in 2014.
Patterson is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in seven different countries. Patterson has played previously professionally in Canada, Italy (Julie News Napoli), Kosovo (Besa), Montenegro (Tara Basket), United Kingdom, Norway (Tromso) and Finland (Porvoon Tarmo).
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
Patterson attended Alabama State until 2013 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
