Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most interesting game of round 9 in the IBL was a home defeat of 6th ranked Pacific Caesar (3-3) to fifth ranked Louvre S. (4-2) 84-79. Louvre S. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pacific Caesar's 38. Louvre S. forced 20 Pacific Caesar turnovers. American forward Savon Goodman (198, college: Shaw) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Martavious Irving (186-90, college: Kansas St.) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Anton Waters (201-93, college: WKU) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Louvre S. moved-up to fourth place. Pacific Caesar at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. Louvre S. are looking forward to face higher ranked NSH (#3) in Jakarta in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pacific Caesar will play at home against Bima Perkasa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Salatiga. Eighth ranked Satya Wacana (2-4) saved a 3-point derby victory at home edging 7th ranked Bima Perkasa (2-4) 91-88 in the game for the seventh place. American guard Montrell Williams (193-92, college: Arkansas Tech) nailed 32 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks for the winning side and Chris Sterling accounted for 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Satya Wacana's coach Efri Meldi allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Devin Gilligan (196-93, college: S.New Hampshire) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists for Bima Perkasa in the defeat. Satya Wacana moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Bima Perkasa. Bima Perkasa lost third consecutive game. Satya Wacana will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bima Perkasa will play on the road against Pacific Caesar (#6) in Surabaya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Jakarta: Indonesia P. (#1) and Satria Muda (#4). Satria Muda was crushed at home by 24 points 44-68 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Satria Muda. The best player for the winners was Lester Prosper who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Gary Jacobs who recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Indonesia P. maintains first place with 6-2 record. Loser Satria Muda dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Indonesia P. will meet Hang Tuah (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Satria Muda's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Jakarta Pelita Jaya.

In the last game of round 9 Prawira lost to Pelita Jaya on the opponent's court 80-90.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 29 points and 9 rebounds by Dior Lowhorn of Pelita Jaya.



Pelita Jaya - Prawira 90-80

Very expected game in Jakarta where 9th ranked Prawira (1-6) was defeated by third ranked Pelita Jaya (5-1) 90-80 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-87, college: USF) who scored 29 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Kevin Bridgewaters (179-84, college: Chattanooga) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was international point guard Arif Hidayat (184-91) who recorded 24 points and American-Jamaican power forward David Samuels (203-91, college: LBSU) added 14 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Four Prawira players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pelita Jaya have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Prawira lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. They share it with Hang Tuah. Pelita Jaya's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Jakarta to the arena Satria Muda.

Important game to mention about took place in Salatiga. Strangely Bima Perkasa outrebounded Satya Wacana 52-29 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American guard Montrell Williams (193-92, college: Arkansas Tech) nailed 32 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks for the winning side and his fellow American import swingman Chris Sterling (196-93, college: Ariz.Christian) accounted for 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
