IBL Round 10: Satria Muda defeats Bima Perkasa in the game between Top 4 teams

Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

An interesting game for Satria Muda (4-2) which played road game in Sakti against one of their biggest challengers Bima Perkasa (3-5). Third ranked Satria Muda managed to get a 11-point victory 73-62. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-87, college: USF) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds. International forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American forward David Atkinson (203-91, college: Salem Intern.) replied with 26 points and 6 rebounds for Bima Perkasa. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Pelita Jaya. Bima Perkasa at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Pacific Caesar. Satria Muda is looking forward to face Prawira (#5) in Bandung in the next round. Bima Perkasa will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Stapac (8-1) which hosted in Jakarta 3rd ranked Pacific Caesar (3-5). First ranked Stapac had an easy win 77-55. American players dominated the game. Forward Savon Goodman (198, college: Shaw) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Kendal Yancy chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Qarraan Calhoun (203-86, college: Houston) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Stapac have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record. Pacific Caesar at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Bima Perkasa. Stapac's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Jakarta to the arena NSH.
An interesting game for Pelita Jaya (4-2) which hosted in Jakarta much higher ranked Hang Tuah (4-4). Second ranked Pelita Jaya managed to get a 7-point victory 70-63. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Hang Tuah. Wayne Bradford notched a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 29 points (made all of his seven free throws) by Gary Jacobs did not help to save the game for Hang Tuah. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pelita Jaya maintains second position with 4-2 record having 2 victories less than leader Stapac, which they share with Satria Muda. Loser Hang Tuah dropped to the third place with four games lost. Pelita Jaya will meet at home Siliwangi (#5) in the next round. Hang Tuah will play against Satya Wacana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for NSH (6-2) which played road game in Bandung against 4th ranked Siliwangi (2-6). First ranked NSH managed to get a 14-point victory 77-63. Dashaun Wiggins fired 22 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. NSH maintains first position with 6-2 record. Siliwangi lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with six games lost. NSH's next round opponent will be league's leader Stapac in Jakarta and it will be for sure the game of the week. Siliwangi will play on the road against the league's second-placed Pelita Jaya in Jakarta and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

They outrebounded Pacific Caesar 55-20 including a 25-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Hang Tuah. Pelita Jaya dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Hang Tuah's 24. They outrebounded Hang Tuah 46-35 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Wayne Bradford (193-92, college: Davenport) notched a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and international forward Kore White (205-89, college: S.Florida) supported him with 11 points and 14 rebounds. The former international Muhammad Irman (188-91) chipped in 12 points. American forward Michael Vigilance (203-94, college: Clark Atlanta) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 22 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and his fellow American import point guard Martavious Irving (186-90, college: Kansas St.) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. NSH maintains first position with 6-2 record. Siliwangi lost fourth consecutive game.
