Doug Herring Jr. (ex Moncton M.) joins CLS Knights- December 25, 2018
The most of last season Herring spent at London Lightning in Canadian NBL Canada where in 46 games he recorded 14.7ppg, 4.6rpg, 6.8apg and 1.3spg. Quite impressive season as he was voted USBasket.com All-NBL Canada Finals MVP and named to USBasket.com All-NBL Canada Honorable Mention. He also played for Orchesien BC (NM1) in league. In 14 games he averaged 12.7ppg, 3.0rpg, 4.9apg and 1.4spg. Herring is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in five different countries. Herring tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in United Kingdom (Bristol Acadamy Flyers), Uruguay (Defensor), PBL (Rochester R. and Hudson Valley) and APBL (Hudson Valley). Herring attended Utica College until 2009 and it is his tenth season as a professional player.
