Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Stapac as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Stapac edged 3rd ranked Satria Muda in Jakarta 66-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Satria Muda. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Stapac forced 21 Satria Muda turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Savon Goodman (198, college: Shaw) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. International Kaleb Gemilang (183-91) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Stapac have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Defending champion Satria Muda keeps the third place with one game lost. Satria Muda will play next round against Prawira trying to get back on the winning streak. Stapac will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.

It was a good game for American guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-91, college: Portland St.) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. Anthony Simpson contributed with 31 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners. American forward Qarraan Calhoun (203-86, college: Houston) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for Pacific Caesar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. NSH keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Hang Tuah. Pacific Caesar at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. NSH will play against Bima Perkasa (#4) in Sakti in the next round. Pacific Caesar will play at home against Pelita Jaya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Pelita Jaya (1-2) against fourth ranked Satya Wacana (2-3) on Sunday night. Host Pelita Jaya was defeated by Satya Wacana in a tough game in Jakarta 91-96. Madarious Gibbs had a double-double by scoring 53 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners. The best for the losing side was Kore White with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Pelita Jaya's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Satya Wacana moved-up to third place, which they share with Bima Perkasa. Loser Pelita Jaya dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Satya Wacana will meet at home Siliwangi (#5) in the next round. Pelita Jaya will play against the league's second-placed Pacific Caesar in Surabaya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Sakti. First ranked Hang Tuah faced 4th ranked Bima Perkasa. Guests from Pandang (4-1) defeated host Bima Perkasa (2-3) 70-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bima Perkasa. The game was dominated by American players. Gary Jacobs notched a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Hang Tuah's coach A. Supriadi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Hang Tuah have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-1 record, which they share with NSH. Bima Perkasa at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. Hang Tuah will have a break next round. Bima Perkasa will play on the road against the league's second-placed NSH in Jakarta and it may be a tough game between close rivals.



Pacific Caesar - NSH 63-104

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Pacific Caesar (2-2) in Surabaya. Hosts were rolled over by NSH (4-1) 104-63. NSH forced 22 Pacific Caesar turnovers and outrebounded them 45-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 65.2 percentage. NSH players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. American forward Qarraan Calhoun (203-86, college: Houston) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Yerikho Tuasela (178-94) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Pacific Caesar.
