Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Pelita Jaya (2-1) in Jakarta on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Satria Muda (2-1) 70-53. Satria Muda outrebounded Pelita Jaya 50-30 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Satria Muda made 7 blocks. American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-87, college: USF) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and international forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) chipped in 15 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks. American guard Wayne Bradford (193-92, college: Davenport) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains third place with 2-1 record behind leader Hang Tuah, which they share with defeated Pelita Jaya. Satria Muda is looking forward to face league's second-placed Stapac in Jakarta in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pelita Jaya will play at home against Satya Wacana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Americans were the main players on the court. point guard Matt Van-Pelt (178-91, college: Spring Arbor) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists for the winning side and Qarraan Calhoun accounted for 20 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Michael Vigilance (203-94, college: Clark Atlanta) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 24 rebounds for Siliwangi in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pacific Caesar maintains first place with 3-1 record, which they share with Stapac. Siliwangi lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Prawira and Satya Wacana. Pacific Caesar will play against league's second-placed NSH in Jakarta in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Siliwangi will have a break next round.

Prawira's coach Andre Yuwadi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hang Tuah have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-1 record. Prawira lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Satya Wacana and Siliwangi. Hang Tuah will meet Bima Perkasa (#4) in the next round. Prawira will have a break next round.



Siliwangi - Pacific Caesar 68-89

IBL top team - Pacific Caesar (3-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Siliwangi (1-4) in Bandung 89-68. Pacific Caesar players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Siliwangi's players. Americans were the main players on the court. Point guard Matt Van-Pelt (178-91, college: Spring Arbor) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists for the winning side and forward Qarraan Calhoun (203-86, college: Houston) accounted for 20 points and 14 rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Jarad Scott (203-95, college: Union, TN) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 20 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Gary Jacobs (188-92, college: Cent.Washington) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 assists and 4 steals. Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hang Tuah players scored in double figures.
