The Regular Season in IBL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

Second-ranked Garuda (8-7) made lots of trouble for first ranked Satria Muda (14-1) in Jakarta on Sunday. Satria Muda managed to secure only two-point victory 65-63. However their fans expected easier game. The best player for the winners was American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-87, college: USF) who scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. International forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Gary Jacobs (188-92, college: Cent.Washington) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Satria Muda have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-1 record. Garuda at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Jakarta. Second ranked Stapac faced 3rd placed Pacific Caesar. Host Stapac (10-4) defeated guests from Surabaya (8-5) 64-49. It was a good game for American point guard Dom Williams (180-92, college: Cent.Washington) who led his team to a victory with 28 points. Kore White contributed with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Stapac's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard David Seagers (188-88, college: Dowling) answered with 7 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for Pacific Caesar. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Stapac. They maintain second place with 10-4 record having just three points less than leader Satria Muda. Pacific Caesar at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Stapac will play against Satya Wacana (#4) in Salatiga in the next round. Pacific Caesar will play on the road against the league's leader Pelita Jaya in Jakarta and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Salatiga. First ranked Pelita Jaya faced 4th placed Satya Wacana. Guests from Jakarta (13-1) smashed host Satya Wacana (6-9) 103-79. Chester Giles stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. The best for the losing side was Madarious Gibbs with 41 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-1 record. Loser Satya Wacana dropped to the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Hang Tuah. Pelita Jaya will meet at home Pacific Caesar (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Satya Wacana will play against the league's second-placed Stapac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

NSH at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. Hang Tuah's next round opponent will be Siliwangi (#5) in Bandung. NSH will play on the road against Bima Perkasa in Sakti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Pelita Jaya dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Satya Wacana's 46. Pelita Jaya forced 19 Satya Wacana turnovers and outrebounded them 52-25 including a 35-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pelita Jaya looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Satya Wacana's players. American-Bahrain center Chester Giles (211-85, college: Oregon St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and American guard Wayne Bradford (193-92, college: Davenport) chipped in 22 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
