An interesting game for Garuda (8-5) which played road game in Surabaya against much higher ranked Pacific Caesar (8-4). Second ranked Garuda had an easy win 87-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pacific Caesar. They outrebounded Pacific Caesar 47-33 including 20 on the offensive glass. Garuda looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Roderick Flemings (203-87, college: Hawaii, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists. point guard Gary Jacobs (188-92, college: Cent.Washington) contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Garuda's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Anton Waters (201-93, college: W.Kentucky) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds for Pacific Caesar. Garuda have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 8-5 record having just two points less than leader Satria Muda which they share with defeated Pacific Caesar. Pacific Caesar at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Stapac. Garuda are looking forward to face Stapac (#3) in Jakarta in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pacific Caesar will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Stapac (8-4) which hosted in Jakarta 4th placed Satya Wacana (5-8). Third ranked Stapac had an easy win 103-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Satya Wacana. It was a great evening for American point guard Dom Williams (180-92, college: Cent.Washington) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 6 assists. Kore White helped adding 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American guard Madarious Gibbs (185-93, college: Texas Southern) responded with 39 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Stapac moved-up to second place, which they share with Pacific Caesar. Satya Wacana at the other side dropped to the third position with eight games lost. They share it with Bima Perkasa and Hang Tuah. Stapac will play against league's second-placed Garuda in Bandung in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Satya Wacana will play on the road against Hang Tuah in Pandang and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It was an exceptional evening for Dior Lowhorn who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Nahshon George came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for Hang Tuah in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Satria Muda have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Hang Tuah lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with eight games lost. They share it with Satya Wacana and Bima Perkasa. Satria Muda will meet Bima Perkasa (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hang Tuah will play against Satya Wacana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
