Roderick
Flemings
American Roderick Flemings (203-C/F-87, agency: Interperformances) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Garuda, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 17 rebounds, while his team edged out Satya Wacana (#4, 3-7) 82-78. Garuda is placed at 2nd position in their group in Indonesian IBL. Garuda is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. In the team's last game Flemings had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Garuda's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Hawaii star has very solid stats this year. Flemings is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 9.5rpg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg and 52.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old American Emilio Parks (198-F/C-93) of Bima Perkasa. Parks had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Bima Perkasa lost that game 60-76 to slightly higher-ranked Hang Tuah (#3, 5-5). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Red Group. Bima Perkasa still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. Parks is a newcomer at Bima Perkasa, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#7). He also registered 9.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Darnell Brown II (190-G-90) of Siliwangi (#5). Brown II showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, twelve rebounds (!!!) and six assists in the last round. Despite Brown II's great performance Siliwangi lost 67-78 to the higher-ranked Satria Muda (#1, 10-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Siliwangi can only dream about fighting for top spots in White Group. They have awful season losing so far all 11 games. Too bad for Brown II he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Brown II has a very solid season. In 2 games in Indonesia he scored 20.5ppg. Brown II attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Dior Lowhorn (201-F-87) of Satria Muda - 21 points and 14 rebounds
5. Nahshon George (206-F-93) of Hang Tuah - 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Madarious Gibbs (185-G-93) of Satya Wacana - 31 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
7. JT Sulton (203-F-91) of Satya Wacana - 19 points and 16 rebounds
8. Christian Setipu (200-C-86) of Satria Muda - 13 points and 11 rebounds
9. Keenan Palmore (185-G-94) of Hang Tuah - 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Fidyan Dini (195-C-83) of Hang Tuah - 13 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Interperformances. Interperformances is a full-service agency specializing in the representation of professional athletes the world-over.
