WNBL Round 4: Sritex DS defeats Predators in the closest game of the week

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in WNBL.

The most exciting game of round 4 in the WNBL took place in Semarang. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Predators (3-7) to fifth ranked Sritex DS (3-7) 71-69 in the game for the fourth place. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-69. Sritex DS moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Predators. Sritex DS is looking forward to face league's leader Surabaya F. at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Predators will play against Sahabat S. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Jakarta: Tomang Sakti (#3) and Predators (#4). Predators were smashed at home by 35 points 54-89 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Defending champion (7-3) moved-up to second place, which they share with Sahabat S. Predators at the other side keep the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Sritex DS. Tomang Sakti will play against bottom-ranked Rajawali (#6) in Bandung in the next round. Predators will play against Sahabat S. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
