Garuda won Jakarta's Governor cup - Mar 16, 2010
Garuda Flexi (Bandung)
won 2010 Jakarta's Governor cup basketball tournament. In the final
Garuda defeat the capital team Pelita Jaya Esia (Jakarta) 71-56 at
Soemantri Brodjonegoro Sports Building Jakarta. It's the first title
for Garuda coach Johanis Winar. Winar is former Muba Hangtuah
Indonesia Muda (South Sumatra) coach in IBL last year. Winar also
have ever been Garuda coach before taken by another former coach
Raoul Hadinoto. Garuda's veteran forward I Made 'Lolik' Sudiadnyana
crowned as tournament best player. This result will be a good start
for Garuda to welcome the new IBL season this year.
