Saudi Arabia powered past India 81–57 in the World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers, taking control early with a strong 19–9 first quarter and extending their advantage with a dominant 24–12 second period. India showed moments of improvement in the third quarter, scoring 15 points, but Saudi Arabia continued to pull away with a 26-point effort. In the final quarter, India outscored Saudi Arabia 21–12, but the deficit was too large to overcome. Saudi Arabia’s balanced offense and disciplined defense set the tone throughout the game. The win gives Saudi Arabia a commanding boost in their qualification campaign.
Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman (196-G-1994, college: Michigan) orchestrated the win with 24 points and Marzouq Almuwallad (180-PG-1992) produced 13. Kanwar Sandhu (185-SG-1999) notched 19 points for the home side.
