IHC Apes (MBL) agreed terms with 24-year-old Indian international center Princepal Singh (206cm-2001) for the new 2025-26 season. He played last season with Panthers in the New Zealand NBL league. He also played for Warriors in the Indian INBL, where in 7 games he had 5.3ppg and 4.3rpg. Singh helped them reach the Indian INBL final after finishing the regular season as the second-best team.
In 2021, he was selected by the Stockton Kings (G-League) as the 5th overall pick.
He has been a member of the Indian international program for some years. Singh has regularly played for the Indian senior team since 2020 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2018.
He also represented India at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) this year. During this event, he scored an average of 6.3 ppg and had 3.3 rpg.
Singh is a very experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Asia, Australia, and North America). Singh has played previously in Australia (Breakers and Excellence), New Zealand, Thailand (Thai General Equipment), NBA Summer League (Sacramento Kings), NBA G League (G League Ignite), The Basketball Tournament (India R.), and India (Stars).
He won the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League in Las Vegas championship title in 2021.
