CSJSM Univ, 3 city schools reach semi-finals of dist basketball c’ship

Kanpur: The Chintels School Ratanlal Nagar, CSJM University, Dr VSEC Shyam Nagar and Bishop Westcot school reached the semifinals in the boys group of the district basketball championship underway at Jain International School on Thursday.

In the girls group, Army Public School, CHS Gurukulam and The Chintels School Kalyanpur secured their spots in the semi-finals. The Chintels School girls defeated Guru Harrai Academy 24-10, CHS Gurukulam beat Guru Har Rai Academy 22-15, while Army Public School overcame The Chintels School by 14-10.

In the boys' quarter-finals, CSJM University triumphed over Swaraj India 28-06, Chintels School beat CHS Education 33-12, VSEC Shyam Nagar won against Army Public School 24-13. Bishop Westcott School overwhelmed VESC Avadhpuri by 27-10.
