Newly promoted Indian Panthers (NBL) landed 29-year old American 185cm point guard Alex Robinson (college: TCU). Robinson played recently at Hyderabad Falcons in Indian INBL. In 11 games just recently he averaged impressive 15.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 9.4apg (leader !!!) and 2.4spg (leader !!!) last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
Robinson is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Australian, African and of course North American leagues. Robinson has played previously professionally in Australia (Raiders), Austria (BC Vienna), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers), NBA G League (SLC Stars, Santa Cruz Warriors, Indiana Mad Ants, Iowa Wolves and Cleveland Charge) and Ivory Coast (Abidjan Basket Club).
He won NIT championship title in 2017.
Robinson graduated from Texas Christian University in 2019 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball. He played also for Texas A&M University for one year.
