Jack Purchase, 29-year old Australian forward from the Hyderabad Falcons, was honored as the Player of the Year at the Indian National Basketball League. He graduated from the Hawaii six years ago. Purchase received multiple other awards, earned the Forward of the Year and was named to the First Team. He was the Player of the Week honoree twice during the 25 campaign. Purchase showcased his talent by ranking third in points per game with an average of almost 19 and fifth in rebounds per game with an average of almost 9. He has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 5 games on the year. Purchase's 32 points against Punjab Warriors were the most he scored in the 2025 season. Tad Dufelmeier, 29-year old Australian point guard from the Chennai Heat, picked up the Guard of the Year of Indian National Basketball League. He is the Concordia Irvine alumni from 2018. Dufelmeier also earned a spot in the First Team. He orchestrated his way to the fourth spot in points per game, showcasing a dazzling average of over 17 and second position in averaging almost 8 assists per game. Dufelmeier has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 4 games on the year. His 25 points against Gujarat Stallions were the most he scored in the 2025 season. Alex Robinson, 29-year old American point guard from the Hyderabad Falcons, was selected to the First Team at the Indian National Basketball League. He is alumni of the Texas Christian from 2019. Robinson recorded over 15 points per game that season in the league. He led the INBL in assists per game with over 9. Robinson has totalled 2 games of 20 or more points and logged double-doubles in 6 games on the year. His 29 points against Gujarat Stallions were the most he scored in the 2025 season.
The standout American guard Trendon Hankerson was chosen to the First Team of the championship-winning Gujarat Stallions. He graduated from Akron two years ago. Hankerson's excellent performance assisted his team in beating Punjab Warriors 77 to 69 in the final. His court vision propelled him to the second spot in points per game an outstanding average of almost 20 and third position in assists per game, averaging almost 6. Hankerson's 26 points against Delhi Dribblers were the most he scored in the 2025 season. The best players in the league are US college alumni.
