Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Stallions made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nate Roberts (211-2000, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks. Australian swingman Joshua Duach (197-2003, college: Iona) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Australian point guard Tad Dufelmeier (183-1996, college: CUI) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists and Australian forward Malok Majak (196-2000) added 21 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Heat. American power forward Stokley Chaffee (204-1996, college: Tennessee St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and Australian guard Thomas Garrett (188-2000, college: MSU Denver) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side international Kushal Singh (195-2005) responded with 23 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Australian forward Jack Purchase (203-1995, college: Hawaii) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
