Best players of Indian INBL round 3 (by Hoops Agents)

Australian Jack Purchase (203-F-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader Hyderabad Falcons and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 29-year old forward had the game-high 32 points adding six rebounds for Hyderabad F. in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Punjab W. (#6, 1-3) 88-84. It allowed Falcons to consolidate first place in the Indian INBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Hyderabad F. has a very solid 3-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Purchase had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Falcons's top player in his first season with the team. University of Hawaii graduate has very impressive stats this year. Purchase is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.8ppg), rebounds (8th best: 7.0rpg), assists (7th best: 3.8apg) and averages solid 53.6% FGP and 42.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Trendon Hankerson (188-G-2000, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) of Gujarat Stallions. Hankerson impressed basketball fans with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. It was enough for Stallions to edge Delhi D. (2-2) by 5 points 95-90. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Hankerson is a newcomer at Gujarat S. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.3rpg and 5.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was Australian Alexander Mudronja (196-G-1999) of second-ranked Delhi Dribblers. Mudronja showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Mudronja's great performance the Dribblers lost 90-95 to #4 ranked Gujarat S.. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Delhi needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Mudronja has a great season in India. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.8ppg (6th best) and assists with 7.3apg (2nd best).
