Indian INBL round 2 best performance: James Montgomery (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward James Montgomery (203-F-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Delhi Dribblers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Chennai H. (2-2) 90-80. Dribblers is placed at 2nd position in Indian INBL. Delhi is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. Montgomery just recently signed at Dribblers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Barry University star has very solid stats this year. Montgomery is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.7rpg) and averages impressive 66.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Australian Uche Dibiamaka (193-G-1999) of Punjab Warriors. Dibiamaka had a very good evening with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led Warriors to another comfortable win outscoring Mumbai T. (2-2) 100-78. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Dibiamaka is a newcomer at Punjab W., but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.5ppg (#9). He also recorded 3.8 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Australian forward Jack Purchase (203-F-1995) of league's top team Hyderabad Falcons. Purchase scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Falcons, leading his team to a 100-77 easy win against #2 ranked Delhi D. in a game of the week. Hyderabad F. confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Purchase has a great season in India. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.8ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 7.0rpg (8th best) and assists with 3.8apg (7th best).
