India U18 outscored Kuwait U18 to open win count at the tournament. India used a 22-7 run in the third term to surge ahead for good. Lavish Lavish (180-PG-2007) and Lokesh Sharma (188-PF-2007) posted 12 points each for India. Adel Alsaied (187-G-2006) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds for Kuwait.
India U18 finished with a 1-2 record, whilst Kuwait U18 ended up the group stage with a 0-3 record.
