MP down Kerala 80-66 in Boys Quarter

Kerala Junior Men team went down fighting in their quarter final match against Madhya Pradesh score (80 - 66). Both teams started the game cautiously with Kerala scoring the first 6 points and kept the lead till 04.27 min there after Madhya Pradesh took lead and maintained all through the game. Both teams played very good possession game where Madhya Pradesh had little edge in their movement of the ball and man. Maintained the possession is so evident that in the 4 th period from 1.05 min to 4.18 min there was no score at all. Kerala team exhibited good defence unfortunately their shooting conversion didn't raise as usual converting 7/28 - 3 pts and 19/50 - 2 pts against Madhya Pradesh 9/26 - 3 pts and 23/50 - 2 pts. Kerala Boys had the disadvantage of playing the 2nd match today. Earlier in the morning they played pre-quater final and won against Maharashtra.

For Kerala Vinay Sankar scored 10 pts,Jins K Joby 6 pts, Jeevan K Joby 16 pts, Niranjan 8 pts, Niyukth Salil 6 pts and Aswin 12 pts. Kerala had 15 pts from turn overs 11 pts from fast break, 32 pts from the paint, 12 second chance points and 14 pts from the bench against Madhya Pradesh's 10 pts from turn overs and 12 pts from fast break, 38 pts from paint, 11 second chance points and 17 pts from the bench. Kerala had 10 offensive rebounds and 34 defensive rebounds (total 44)against Madhya Pradesh's 14 offensive and 45 defensive rebounds (Total 59)
