Bahrain secured a spot in the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament as they reached another win in Damascus. Bahrain overcame India 79-66 to remain undefeated. India looked better at the start of the game and won the first quarter 24-17. Bahrain meanwhile answered with a massive 31-15 surge and then added a 22-12 run in the third quarter to secure another win.
Zee Hamoda (201-G/F-2002) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and Ali Rashed (181-PG-2000) notched 14. Sahaij Sekhon (194-PG-2001) replied with 17 points in a loss and Aravind Annadurai (200-PF-1993) produced 11.
