Delhi D. made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 29 Kochi T. turnovers and outrebounded them 45-28 including 21 on the offensive glass. Kochi T. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Lokendra Singh (194-2005) nailed 20 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and the former international center Piyush Meena (208-1999) accounted for 13 points and 14 rebounds. Delhi D.'s coach Mohit Bhandari allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Lalrina Renthlei (182) came up with 28 points and 4 assists and forward Sejin Mathew (195) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Kochi T. in the defeat.
