Saudi Arabia rolled over India in Jeddah at the 2023 World Cup Asian Qualifiers. The hosts improved to a 2-5 record leaving India winless.
Saudi Arabia started with two similar 19-14 quarters in the first half and led 38-28 at the halftime. Moreover, they produced a 28-19 surge in the third quarter and closed the game withe a final 19-7 rally.
Khalid Gabar and Hazim Aljohar top-scored for the winners with 16 points each. Musab Kadi (196-F-1999) nailed 13, whilst Mathna Almarwani (186-SG-1992) brought 12. Seijin Mathew (198-F-2000) replied with 10 points in the losing effort, while Palpreet Brar (204-C-1994), Arvind Krishnan and Lokendra Singh (194-SG-2005) notched 9 each.
