India outscore Iraq in Baghdad at the Fiba Asia Cup Qualifiers 2021. They improved to 1-1 record after a 94-75 win.
India took a 26-21 lead at the start and had a 6-point advantage at the halftime. The third period was decisive in the game when the guests needed a 28-19 surge to seal the victory.
Muin Hafeez (190-F-96) top-scored fir the winners with 24 points, whilst Amritpal Singh (210-C-91) poured in 22. Aravind Annadurai (200-PF-93) delivered 21 and Vishesh Bhriguvanshi (195-G/F-91) scored 13. Hassan Abdullah (190-G-94) replied with 26 points in the losing effort and Demario Mayfield (196-G/F-91, college: Angelo St., agency: Two Points) notched 23.
