Vancouver welcomes back Yang

Vancouver Bandits (CEBL) landed 28-year old Hong Kong-Canadian international 193cm guard Glen Yang (college: Mount Royal). It is actually his comeback to Bandits as he has played here before. He played recently at HK Eastern in Filipino PBA league. In 6 games he averaged 10.3ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.2apg and 1.2spg last season. He also played 12 games in PBA where he had 13.7ppg, 4.1rpg, 5.1apg and 1.1spg. The last season summer he played at Bandits (ncouver Bandits (Canada-CEBL): 19 games: 3.2ppg, 1.1apg). Yang was called to the Hong Kong Senior National Team this year.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Yang is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Hong Kong, Spain (Palma Fibwi and Culleredo), Taiwan (Steelers) and Canada (Sea Bears).
Among many awards his team won CEBL Western Conference Regular Season in 2024. Yang was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Commissioner's Cup Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from Mount Royal University in 2019 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
