South China have won the Finals opener in Hong Kong. They edged Winling 102-83. Trailing 20-22 at the end of the first quarter, South China produced a 32-11 surge in the second frame to seal the win.
In the series for the third place Fukien overcame Hong Kong Eastern 102-83.
