C.J. Gettys (ex Kesatria BS) agreed terms with Winling

C.J. Gettys

Winling (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American 213cm center C.J. Gettys (college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) for season 2024-25. He played most recently at Kesatria Bengawan Solo in Indonesian IBL league. In 20 games he just recently played he recorded very impressive stats: 16.7ppg, 10.6rpg, 4.0apg and 1.3bpg last season. Great year indeed as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian IBL Honorable Mention. The last season he played at Tycoon.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Gettys' pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in six different countries. Gettys has played previously professionally in Japan (Scorpions and Shinagawa), Singapore (Singapore Slingers), Spain (Lleida), United Kingdom (Cheshire Phoenix and Newcastle Eagles) and The Basketball Tournament (Playing for Jimmy). His team won Hong Kong League Regular Season in 2024.
He graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. Gettys played also for University of North Carolina Wilmington for 4 years.
