Macau Black Bears handed Hong Kong Eastern their first loss at the ASEAN Invitational Tournament. Macau Black Bears improved to a 2-3 record, whilst Hong Kong Eastern dropped to 4-1 record.
Macau Black Bears looked better from the start and won the first three quarters. Hong Kong Eastern meanwhile answered with a 24-18 run in the last stanza, but could not save the game.
Isaiah Wade (201-PF-1998, college: UCO) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and 14 rebounds, whilst De'Quan Abrom (188-SG-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) netted 21. Chris McLaughlin (208-C, college: Victoria) replied with 20 points an 15 rebounds in a loss.
