Flying Eagle - Nam Ching 92-91 The most exciting game of round 9 in the D1 took place in . This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Nam Ching (3-2) to fourth ranked Flying Eagle (4-3) 92-91 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Nam Ching. Flying Eagle moved-up to third place. Nam Ching at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with HK Eastern. Flying Eagle's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in to the arena . Fukien - HK Eastern 78-97 The game in was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked HK Eastern (3-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Fukien (1-4). HK Eastern did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 97-78 on Tuesday. HK Eastern moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Nam Ching. Fukien lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Pegasus and ABLE. HK Eastern will meet at home Pegasus (#9) in the next round. Fukien will play against Nam Ching and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Pegasus - Tycoon 51-81 The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Tycoon's (3-1) road victory over 7th ranked Pegasus (1-4) 81-51 on Wednesday. Tycoon moved-up to fourth place. Loser Pegasus keep the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Fukien and ABLE. Tycoon will meet at home league's leader South China in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pegasus will play against HK Eastern (#5) in Hong Kong and it may be a tough game between close rivals. ABLE - HKPA 95-53 ABLE's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat HKPA (0-5) 95-53. ABLE (1-4) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Fukien and Pegasus. It was HKPA's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. ABLE will play against league's second-placed Winling in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. HKPA will have a break next round. |
