Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Winling as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Winling smashed 4th placed Slam at home 98-68. Winling have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted Slam dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with South Green. Slam will play next round against strong South China trying to get back on the winning streak. Winling will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Travel Assoc. at home.
Seventh ranked South Green (1-2) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging bottom-ranked Fujian (0-2) 66-65 on Tuesday evening. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. South Green left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Slam. Fujian at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

What was supposed to be a tight game turned out to be a rout as the Singapore Slingers outclassed Hong Kong Eastern 101-70 in Game 1 of the Asean Basketball League (ABL) play-offs semi-finals on Friday (April 12). Coach Neo Beng Siang was all smiles in front of over 2,000 fans at the OCBC Arena and declared that this was a display of "real basketball". "We did well on both ends. There were a couple of sloppy turnovers, but we committed only nine in the end and that's really good," he said.    [read more]
