Hong Kong U16 - Indonesia U16 38:33

Hong Kong scraped past Indonesia at the U16 Asia Championship in Sri Lanka. The win carried Hong Kong at 3-1 record in the second place in Level II ladder. Indonesia fell at 2-2 record after the loss. Tse Yik Lam (166-PG-97) and Ko Tsz Ching (158-SF-97) finished with 10 points each for the winners.
Hong Kong held their opponents to 2 points in the opening quarter and secured a 7-point lead. But Indonesia improved their performance in the second quarter. They fired 12 points in the second stanza cutting the deficit to a single point 14:15 at halftime. Hong Kong boosted the gap in the third term. They accounted for a 27:24 advantage before the fourth period. Hong Kong held Indonesia to 9 points in the final stanza and snatched a tough victory at the end. Cheung Wa Sin (163-SF-97) connected for 6 points in the win. Ida Wijaya replied with 10 points and 12 rebounds for Indonesia. Regita Pramesti (163-G-97) tossed in 7 points and 9 boards in the losing effort.
