Hong Kong Eastern clinched A1 League title. They beat Tycoon 82-73 in the fourth game of the championship series to conquer the trophy. Yang Glen (193-G-1996, college: Mount Royal, agency: Slash Sports) came up with 27 points to lead the winners. Gilbert Dominic (198-G/F-1996, college: UBC, agency: Players Group) provided 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Tycoon jumped to a 24-21 lead after ten minutes. Hong Kong Eastern erased the deficit in the second frame to eke out a 41-40 halftime lead. Tycoon retook the advantage in the third term as they entered the fourth frame up by 2 points. Hong Kong Eastern though went on a decisive 23-12 rally in the fourth period to ice the win and the trophy.
Williams Xeyrius (206-PF-1997, college: Akron, agency: Players Group) and Reid Duncan (206-C-1989) answered with 18 points each for Tycoon.
