Eastern clinched 2023/24 League trophy as they overcame Tycoon 80-70 in the decisive game. Eastern grabbed a 30-29 lead at the start and had a 3-point advantage at the halftime. Moreover, they added a narrow 18-17 rally in the third quarter and won the last stanza 17-11.
Gilbert Dominic (198-G/F-1996, college: UBC, agency: BIG) stepped up with 20 points to pace all the winners, whilst Lorraine Mai netted 19. Gettys C.J. (213-C-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) replied with 28 points in the losing effort.
