Bangladesh - Sri Lanka 60-63
Sri Lanka snatched a narrow win over Bangladesh to improve at 1-1 record in the qualifier. Praneeth Udumalagala (188-G-93) scored 17 points to lead the effort. Bangladesh posted a 13:6 lead after ten minutes. But Sri Lanka turned things around in the fourth period. They used a 27:19 run in the final term to snatch the win. Clinton Stallon Thevakumar (179-PG-93) and Roshan Randirma dropped 13 points each for the winners. Mithun Biswas answered with 19 points and 13 rebounds for Bangladesh.

Saudi Arabia - Palestine 85-76
Saudi Arabia opened win count in Manama as they upset Palestine in the opener. Khalid Abdel-Gabar (188-G-90) netted 22 points to lead the effort. Saudi Arabia trailed by as many as 7 points at the interval 34:41. But they went on a 30:14 run in the third term to surge ahead. Saudi Arabia maintained the lead throughout the fourth frame and raced to the win. Marzouq Almuwallad (180-PG-92) netted 16 points in the win. Sani Sakakini (204-C-88) answered with 28 points and 22 rebounds for Palestine.

Guam - Malaysia 101-78 Guam outgunned Malaysia to finish with the perfect record in the EABC Pre-Qualifiers. Earnest Ross (196-G-91, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) delivered 33 points to lead the winners. Guam posted a 57:35 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the victory. Guam - Indonesia 65-53 Guam held off Indonesia to remain perfect at the EABC Pre-Qualifiers. Tai Wesley (201-F-86, college: Utah St.) delivered 19 points and 11 rebounds to pace the winners. Indonesia grabbed a 20:15 lead after the opening frame. But Guam went on a 25:12 run in the second quarter to surge ahead.
