Favourite Spartak Moscow Region and CSKA Volgaburmash won their road games against Prague and USVO to advance to quarter-finals; UMMC Ekaterinburg forced Sopron to resolutive game-3: en-plein for Russian teams. Big road wins for Ros Casares in Krakow and TEO Vilnius in Salamanca; Pecs-Brno and Namur Fenerbahce now are even (1-1). Bourges won the French derby against Mondeville.

About individual scoring, Sandrine Gruda (192-F/C-87) poured in 23 points in USVO loosing effort; Evanthia Maltsi (180-F-78) (21) propelled Bourges, and Katryna Gaither (191-C-75) (21 also) Namur.

Game-3 is scheduled on Febraury, Wednesday 7th, in Istanbul, Sopron and Brno.
