It was a great evening for American-Qatari Brandon Goodwin (188-1995, college: FGCU) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American center Hassan Whiteside (213-1989, college: Marshall) helped adding 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American point guard Eugene German (183-1997, college: NIU) with 22 points and 4 assists and Taiwanese point guard Ray Chen (182-1993, college: Liberty) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Shenzhen L. - Guangsha L. 91-80

Leopards made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Leopards brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Senegalese center Ibou Badji (218-2002) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 6 blocks. American Alize Johnson (206-1996, college: Missouri St.) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Five Leopards players scored in double figures. American Barry Brown Jr. (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) came up with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and the former international center Jinqiu Hu (211-1997) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Guangsha Lions in the defeat. Guangsha Lions' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
