Guandong Tigers made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American guard Tahjere McCall (193-1994, college: Tennessee St., agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import center Jared Sullinger (206-1992, college: Ohio St.) helped adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. Five Guandong Tigers players scored in double figures. Guandong Tigers' coach Feng-Du Du used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Canadian guard Lindell Wigginton (185-1998, college: Iowa St.) with 43 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Xu Xin (226-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Heroes looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Keyontae Johnson (195-1999, college: Kansas St.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Shiyan Gao (186-1996) helped adding 11 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Jaedon LeDee (206-1999, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Dezmine Wells (196-1992, college: Maryland) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
